Okay, for all the other features of the Pulse 8 to be so minimal, the drop on the shoe kind of stands out. The Pulse 8 has a heel-to-toe ratio of about 10mm; this somewhat high drop partially takes away from the feel of the feel of the shoe and takes away from the natural feel that is provided by the shoe. The high drop does allow the shoe to have a higher level of support for the wearer of the shoe though, which explains the level of cushioning that is present in the heel.

The Pulse 8 is great for those who need protection in a shoe while also keeping a lightweight feel in the design. Besides these things, the design of the shoe is perfect, for what it was made for. The shoe isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing shoe, but that depends on the user of the shoe.
