Brand
1992 is when Powerstep sold its first orthotics. The initial crowd of customers was running stores and podiatrists. But today, the company is now leading the market as far as orthotics that are prescribed by medical professionals. They are available in retail stores around the world.
Powerstep purchased Heat Moldable Insoles’ Archmolds line in order to work on improving the design and offering it to the existing customers. They purchased this line in 2014. In 2017, they purchased Light Orthotics. Light Orthotics is a method used to produce orthotics in just a few minutes. The process included molding light-curing, lightweight material to the patient’s foot.
The most important piece of the machine that keeps the company succeeding is a combination of premium customer service, innovative (and effective) products, and a strong reputation from both consumers and fellow professionals. Check here for more products like the Powerstep Pinnacle.
Materials
The polypropylene that makes up the support shell is strong yet lightweight and has low specific gravity. It is great for use in rigid orthotics, like the Powerstep Pinnacle. It is considered a closed-cell foam and is ideally used for pressure-reducing, total-contact orthotics. Continuous wear can cause compression, though.
The EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) that is used for the base of the Powerstep Pinnacle provides you with many benefits. It is the material with the best shock absorption in today’s market. It is resistant to moisture and corrosion. The processing and manufacturing of it are easy. EVA even provides you with insulation in cold temperature, but won’t make you sweat in summer. Check here for insulated shoes.
The polyester used for the top cover of the Powerstep Pinnacle is a synthetic fiber, which is more affordable than cotton and has some benefits that cotton does not. Polyester is strong and more durable, but also flexible and wrinkle/shrink resistant. Polyester dries more quickly, making it great for sports and winter where it’s especially inconvenient to have wet fabric touching your skin.
Fit
These insoles are full length, filling up your shoes. They offer full-contact support, meaning they support the balls of your feet, your arches, and your heel. The Powerstep Pinnacle can be versatile and worn with dress shoes, work shoes, or casual shoes. If you need insoles that are trimmable, here’s another option.
Shock Absorption
Sometimes, the pain you experience is because you aren’t distributing your weight evenly across your entire foot. If you do have pain in your feet, ankles, legs, or back, Powerstep Pinnacle is here to help. Be sure to consult your Dr. before purchasing products to alleviate your pain.
Inside your feet are a lot of bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons; a lot more than you’d imagine. These are all susceptible to the stress and strain that comes from each foot strike. Powerstep Pinnacle can help by offering premium shock absorption and energy return. The base of the Powerstep Pinnacle is made of EVA material and is double layered and shock absorbing. You can even pair them with a shock-absorbing shoe.
Cushioning
The foam used to make the VCT will, with usage, begin to soften and conform to the shape of your foot. This is going to provide you with a custom impression for maximum comfort with supportive cushioning. The base is EVA, which is shock-absorbing, double-layered, and provides cushioning for improved comfort. Find cushioned socks here.
Support
If you have flat feet or neutral arches, the Powerstep Pinnacle is perfect for you. It provides the perfect amount of support to keep your foot stabilized and protected during low to medium-impact activities. The shape and the way the Powerstep Pinnacle cradles your feet from toe to heel will keep your stride as natural and supported as possible.
Antimicrobial
This antimicrobial will work all day long to provide you with the best possible protection from pesky bacteria. The odor-causing bacteria are attacked by the antimicrobial properties, leaving it unable to grow or reproduce. You’re not only exposed to the risk of bacteria that causes odor, but you’re also vulnerable to mold, fungi, and even yeast. That’s why it’s so important to tackle the problem before it starts.
There are other ways that you can work to control your foot odor. When you wash your feet, do it thoroughly, dry thoroughly, and do it every single day. Wear socks and shoes are made of breathable material and have good airflow. You also don’t want them to be too tight, trapping moisture. Find more tips for foot care here.
Let your shoes and socks air out completely after every use. Never wear shoes that are made from plastic because it traps heat and causes even more sweat, which attracts the bacteria we’re trying to avoid. You can find breathable shoes here.
Pain Relief
People who struggle with overpronation have arches that roll inward when they’re walking. This isn’t natural for your feet, thus causing pain. When you overpronate, you’re much more likely to sustain injuries than those who walk the way the foot is meant to walk.
Because you’re more susceptible to injuries, it’s a good idea to have shoes that will help stabilize your foot and keep it moving how it should. Find a good pair of stabilizing shoes here. If the shoes don’t help enough, Powerstep Pinnacle can be added for extra efforts at pain relief.
Powerstep Pinnacle insoles use a few different features to contribute to the effort of relieving your pain symptoms. One of those features is the deep heel which cradles your heel and helps to stabilize your ankle. The arch support is flexible but firm, keeping your feet where they need to be. If you need support for high arches, try here.
Directions
The Powerstep Pinnacle insoles come in many sizes, making it easier to find your fit. However, you do have the option of trimming them fit a more customized fit. You’ll want to remove the original insoles from your shoes, if possible.
It’s best to ease into wearing them full time. Walk around in the house with them for a few hours a day until they mold to the shape of your foot. This will give you better support when you’re ready to wear them full time.
Care
Bottom Line
If you are somebody who suffers from more severe foot conditions, deformities, or disorders with your circulatory system, do not use these insoles. You are more susceptible to infections and ulcerations in your feet. Be sure to always consult your Dr. before you purchase any item with the intention of alleviating symptoms of a condition.
